This isn't your average image resizing app.

Smart Resize uses an advanced image resizing technique called Seam Carving (also known as content-aware scale) to detect the least important parts of the image and remove those, while leaving the rest intact.

The algorithm will do a lot of content detection for you, but you can manually specify areas to keep and to remove.

A simple pinch-scale gesture is all that's needed for the magic to happen.

Enhance the look of the image with a filter.

Note that there are types of images where the algorithm works better than others. Namely, there needs to be something to remove to begin with! Scenes with plain of uniform looking background, such as grass or sand works best, whereas indoor scenes with a lot of straight lines will perform poorly.
